Operational draft ยท July 2026

This draft should receive final legal and tax review before public launch in every territory where BrownGlobal Holdings LLC offers direct digital sales.

Who operates the Reader

Kaieteur Reader is the reading app for Kaieteur House. Kaieteur House is a publishing imprint operated by BrownGlobal Holdings LLC.

Account information

We use the account email and authentication information needed to sign you in and connect you to eligible books. Passwordless sign-in uses the shared BrownGlobal Holdings LLC account system for Kaieteur House and Kaieteur Reader.

Library and reading data

The service may store your book entitlements, reading position, bookmarks, reader settings, recently opened books, and records showing which titles were saved for offline use.

Purchases

Kaieteur Reader does not process ebook purchases. Orders are completed through the Kaieteur House storefront and its payment provider. Reader receives only the order and access information needed to display purchased books.

On-device offline copies

When you choose Save offline, the ebook is stored in browser-managed storage on that device. Clearing site data or removing the title deletes the local copy. Remove offline books before sharing or transferring a device.

Service providers

BrownGlobal Holdings LLC may use hosting, database, authentication, storage, payment, email, analytics, and security providers to operate the service. Those providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Security

Paid ebook files use private storage and time-limited access. No digital system can guarantee absolute security or prevent every unauthorized copy.

Children and teenagers

The service is not designed to collect unnecessary information from children. A parent or guardian should help with purchases and legal agreements when required by applicable law.

Your choices

You may sign out, remove offline copies, change reader settings, and contact BrownGlobal Holdings LLC about access or privacy questions. Some order and accounting records must be kept for legal and business purposes.
